SUPREME COURT RULES IN FAVOR OF LORD NEIL B. GIBSON

A settlement agreement earlier this year in January was the result of a complaint Lord Gibson filed for libel, slander, intentional infliction of emotional distress and misappropriation of likeness. The agreement stated and promised that in exchange for not pursuing the suit further all agreed upon negative postings would be removed immediately from the internet.

Some months after the agreement was entered into, it was soon after discovered that the settlement was not upheld, and that in fact the Defendant was in violation of said agreement.

Accordingly, the court reviewed the matter upon request of Neil Gibson’s legal counsel, resulting in the honorable Lorna H. Brumfield of the Superior Court of the States of California ruling in favor of Lord Neil Benjamin Gibson, finding the Defendant to be in breech of the settlement agreement.

The court further ruled that the agreement is now to be enforced by an official order, demanding that all negative postings be removed, or face being in contempt.

While this is a clear victory for Lord Neil B. Gibson, he trusts this will influence others to be more mindful of their words and the effect it can have on one’s life, while also encouraging others who are battling unfair and inaccurate smear campaigns to continue doing the right thing, remain vigilant and pursue higher ideals.

Lord Neil Benjamin Gibson is a businessman, humanitarian and philanthropist who travels the world designing, coordinating and initiating projects to benefit the less fortunate in all walks of life.
